Sabbats week :D

Whee sabbats week has been fun 😀 Though many of the sec twos would probably not agree with me. This year’s choice of sabbaticals for sec twos aren’t particularly thrilling… E.g Ancient Chinese Maths (my classmates said it was a combo of History+Chinese+Math :'(, Math Olympiad, Chinese Creative Writing…it’s all academic stuff. I’m so glad I got pre-allocated into a Pulau Ubin sabbats which is like a full-day thing 😀 there were only sixteen places so Ziwei and I applied for it as soon as the application period opened around three months ago.

So here’s how sabbaticals week has gone so far:

-pause- let me go back up and download the jailbreaking tool first (I’m only updating my phone to IOS 6.1.3 now because the untethered jailbreak was released and I finally had time to do it.

-resume-
Gahhh my phone went into recovery mode 😦 still waiting for it to restore D: I have no idea what’s wrong with it 😥

Anyway, on Monday, also the first day of sabbatical week, we did not go to Pulau Ubin. Rather, we stayed in school to do research and preparation for the trip. And we also played team bonding games etc. Found out that we were divided into four groups with rather..weird names: Avocado, Bobcat, Cheesecake and Dugong. I am in Cheesecake 😀

On Tuesday, we went to Pulau Ubin to cycle. Weather was really nice. We climbed to the highest point in Pulau Ubin–Puaka Hill. The view up there was soooo nice 😀

After that, we went back to school and had act. It was IUG Dry Run. I’m in the teamwork station this year. It was really boring because there were only three teams going around and we waited for more than an hour still none of the teams came to our station. And then we realised that we had many factors we had not considered when planning the game. :0 Really hope actual IUG won’t have so many problems..It’s a good thing we had Dry Run..

On Wednesday, we went to Chek Jawa on foot. The tide was really really low, lowest I have ever seen. Weather was fine like the day before. Spent around two hours at Chek Jawa looking around. Since I was just in Ubin for BSE less than a month ago, there weren’t many new things to see. Was quite bored and it was made worse with mosquitoes constantly attacking me. Apparently the stagnant water there makes it a perfect haven for mosquitoes to breed .____. I confess I really detest that Chek Jawa place, specifically the monsoon boardwalk part. The coastal boardwalk is ok because I love the sea 😀

On Thursday, we went kayaking. Upon arriving at Pulau Ubin, we made our way to Ubin Quarry on foot, the same place we went for BSE kayaking. Three dogs were following us initially but when we passed by the Ah Ma Drink Stall, this very huge furry dog (actually two) chased the other two dogs away and hence there was only one dog left 😦 So pissed at the huge dog lorh D: So the remaining dog followed us all the way to the quarry and even stayed there for awhile when we kayaked. But it eventually left since we took such a long time.

So that’s how my sabbats week went so far. Friday’s act is tent practical :0 honestly very scared…but area ATC is coming up and we need the practise :0 Act ends at 4.30..so short lor 😦 anyway gtg bye
