So yesterday was shooting comp finals! Quite..interesting I guess?

So we all squashed into Mdm Yeo’s car and went to HTA but we were way too early as usual so we had to wait for awhile.

Then then we registered and went in. I was told to sit at the Individual detail place. So I was awkward because I was the only Individial Girl there at first. Afterwards though, an RV person came. But the first question she asked me was “Hey what was your score in prelims and what was your placing?”…Obviously this is a really uncomfortable question but I just answered honestly. During the briefing later on, I suddenlt felt really tired so I didn’t pay much attention. Then, we had to go in to shoot…

Yeah shooting was ok but I could really have done better. I didn’t shoot one bullet for figure two and I had an IA for NRA. Still I shot well enough to get Individual second, one point away from the first. I’m not sad at all about the one point difference though for some reason. Cos maybe I’ve already done my best..But I do want to join again next year and better my personal results!

Shot pretty badly for team round though even though still above 100. I feel quite sorry to my team for underperforming. This is the part where I have many regrets. Could have done so much better!

Overall, this NYST has been really meaningful because not only have my skills as a shooter improved, I have also gained mental strength and concentration.
