Blog Revamp

So… I was browsing through my blog posts yesterday. Just saw how my writing style has changed drastically, from my secondary school days to now. On a side note, I used to type so atrociously…

I never inspired to be those celebrity bloggers with thousands of blog views every day. But since my recent blog posts have been diverging away from my (boring) daily life to more serious reflections of social issues, I thought I should do a blog revamp. I thought of what the theme of the blog should be, and decided it would be every single thing I have interests in. Therefore, I will be posting on a random range of topics including:
  • Law (simply because I major in it and would perhaps have quite a few insights on it?)
  • Other current affairs/social issues
  • Volleyball! (basically all sorts of commentaries on matches I have watched, but I may decide to write some of these in Chinese haha)
  • Movies/dramas
  • Books reviews
  • Travel (I don’t really have a habit of posting my travel adventures, simply because I’m a lazy person and uploading all those pictures take way too much time. But I will..if I have the motivation)
  • Religion
I’ll possibly open up this blog to the general audience, but not before I delete those childish rants from my secondary school days LOLOL.
Opening up has its merits, I get to share my thoughts with a wide range of audiences. But then I always considered myself more of a private person. Opening up means my private thoughts are subject to scrutiny, which makes me a tad uncomfortable. I may just adopt a pseudonym/open a new blog for these.
But all these will only happen after my last Criminal Law paper on 9 May. So till then…I should be studying.

Update: So I’ve decided to move from blogger to wordpress, which is the current site you see. WordPress is awesome in terms of customisation. I will NOT be opening my old blogger for the world wide web, but I have imported the posts from there to this wordpress, while reserving some of those that I find too embarrassing, personal, childish etc. for my own viewing.

Some of those old posts are akin to diary entries, written in the good old teenage years of mine. I preserve some of them for memories sake. My current blogging style is quite different, less interesting perhaps, but seriously, this is my true self…I hope.
